The Bassac Cruise is one of the most relaxing and stylish ways to explore the magnificent Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam.

Beautiful wooden boats equipped to the highest levels cruise gently along the Mekong river and smaller tributary waterways between Can Tho and Cai Be offering a spectacular view of the lives of those who live on around and from this incredible life source.

From your vantage point in comfort you will gently motor past a dizzying and vibrant array of activity, from lone fishermen with their canoes and nets to large floating markets with boats of every size and hue.

The Bassac cruise has three vessels, all very similar in design and style and offering the same sophisticated level of service and experiences. With ten double or twin cabins the boats are spacious enough to offer a variety of spaces to relax, unwind and appreciate the fascinating scenes on and around the river.

The boats have two upper decks which include a bar area, covered dining area and open relaxation areas fitted with deck chairs and sun loungers. The cabins are built entirely from wood, are air conditioned and come with en-suite bathrooms, western toilets and piping hot water showers. The boat moors overnight at a gentle spot and continues its journey at sunrise the following morning. The Bassac also moors briefly in the late afternoon to allow you to step into a smaller boat to explore tiny canals and rural villages.

The one night cruise departs at 11 am and docks at around the same time the following morning and operates in both directions. Included in the price are all your meals - a hearty and tasty variety of local specialities and Vietnamese favourites. The bar is well stocked to cater for any taste to compliment the sunset. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating and ensure that your stay will be magical and memorable.
