Groups and Partnerships Manager
Zoe was born in Scotland, but during her childhood lived in Greece, Bahrain and Canada before settling in England. She worked for several years in London in the film industry, scouting locations and co-ordinating shoots, events and commercials. However, after the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, she was inspired to travel to Sri Lanka and volunteer as an English teacher in a South coast village. She quickly fell in love with the children, cuisine, landscapes, colours and way of life.
After a few months she moved to Sri Lanka full-time and has never looked back. Living there for over 5 years now she’s thrived working in the tourism industry and knows the country inside out. Finding great resources, building relationships, developing a wide network of contacts and special places to stay off the beaten track, Zoe is the go-to contact for incredible tours of the island. Over the years she’s designed intricate tours for various clientele, and guided groups of solo women and special interest groups successfully.
Zoe has travelled extensively throughout America, South America, Europe and Asia. Highlights include: trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro, working a ski season in Whistler; wine tasting in Mendoza and attending music festivals in Serbia and Spain. In her spare time she likes to explore more of Southeast Asia, but nothing quite beats her passion for Sri Lanka.
