Southeast Asia travel specialist Toni's passion for Asia started early. Very early. She was born in Hong Kong, where she lived for several years before moving onto Thailand and, later, Japan. Her family relocated to England when she was 13, but her passion for Asia was unstoppable and she returned to go backpacking for eight months before university. After graduating, she was delighted to find a job that allowed her to continue hopping back to her favourite continent in the name of research. At ETG, Toni specialises in Sri Lanka & The Maldives and is the country manager for Thailand.
