2015 ETG Signature Experiences

by Guest Post & Amelia Curran

2015 has been a big year for our ETG signature experiences. These are unique activities we’ve designed to make sure you get the most of your travels. Be it avoiding the crowds, visiting the best local restaurants or doing an iconic attraction slightly differently, our country specialists have been working hard to make sure your holiday is truly unforgettable.

Our ETG signature experiences came into existence a few years ago, when we realized that, with a little imagination, we could transform fairly routine tourist activities into experiences that were incredibly special. For example, visiting the temples of Angkor, with a few tweaks, could be done away from the bus loads of crowds and away from the heat of the midday sun.

We wanted to design experiences that were authentic, flexible and well-paced to make sure our clients came away with the same enthusiasm we have for our destinations. We tasked each of our country specialists with developing some unique experiences, and the feedback so far has been fantastic.

What’s fantastic about the signature Colombo Tour is that you get a real flavour for the people that live there and how the city has changed through the years. Our guide, Mark’s, passion for the subject was infectious and he really brings the history to life with his vivid storytelling and enthusiasm.” – Stephen O’Farrell

This year we have established our signature experiences in our major destinations within our countries. We also have further signature experiences in development at the moment, hoping to be fully up and running 2016.

We have also developed a range of family-friendly signature experiences and are looking forward to expanding our collection next year.

My daughter and I both agreed that the vespa tour was the highlight of our holiday in Vietnam. Any fears I had beforehand soon disappeared in the hands of our excellent drivers and guide. The tour was excellent for families and I would recommend it to all.” – Sue Cole
