Trek through the dense forest of the Ulu Muda reserve with your expert guides to experience first-hand the spectacular biodiversity of this pristine reserve.
From your base at the Earth Lodge, your guides and trackers will take you a full day adventure into the forest, crossing streams and falling trees as you make your way to recently discovered limestones caves.
The trekking is moderate and you will need the provided leech socks to ward of unwanted attention from these creatures that abound in only the most biodiverse of areas.
The caves themselves offer a fascinating insight into the importance of limestone to the local ecosystems, which your guides can explain in considerable detail.
Departing after breakfast, the entire trip last for approximately five hours. A packed lunch is provided by the lodge and you will return in the late afternoon in time for a river swim or the option of joining one of the evening boat safaris.
