Tubing & Hot Springs

This excursion involves being taken a few kilometres upstream in a longtail boat by your guide. From here you will be given an inflatable tube in which to sit and float gently down the Ulu Muda River while your boat and guide follow behind for support.

This is an incredibly peaceful and relaxing way to explore the forest as you drift peacefully and silently downstream taking in the verdant and enchanted surroundings.

The activity is suitable for anyone who can swim, although in many areas the water is so shallow you might need to give yourself a little push.

Before reaching the lodge there is a tributary which runs into the river from a natural hot spring. Here it is possible to bath in the steaming waters, maintaining your desired temperature by moving up the stream or closer to the river, where the two water sources meet.
