Located right on the waterfront in Sandakan’s centre, the Four Points by Sheraton delivers that great quality one would expect from the brand, as well as providing an excellent base for enjoying the cities highlights.
Known as Sabah’s food capital, Sandakan is a good spot for trying different foods, and the Four Points provides a base to do this. Its central location means restaurants and sights, such as Agnes Keith’s former home, are all within walking distance, and if you are after a spot of retail therapy, the hotel sits atop the town’s newest shopping mall.
The 300 guest rooms and suites all enjoy views of the Sulu Sea and islands beyond, while the hotel boasts an outdoor pool and pool bar, restaurant (if you tire of the many great eateries outside) and a gym.
What the hotel lacks in character, it entirely makes up for in location and comfort.
Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
