Classic Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo
Wild Borneo and romantic Peninsular Malaysia including city sights, wildlife, jungles, cuisine and beaches.
Located in the historic neighbourhood of Jalan Kamunting, Hotel Stripes is a contemporary hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The rooftop infinity pool with incredible views over the city and the great facilities make it an excellent place to retreat to after a day exploring the city.
You’ll be near the city’s main attractions, along with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. However, they do have dining options of their own where Asian and Western meals are served, along with an impressive breakfast buffet spread. The rooftop Man Tao bar by the pool is a particularly lovely spot at sunset where you can unwind with a signature cocktail.
The rooms and suites are complete with plush beds, plenty of space and all the usual amenities. Black and white images of the neighbourhood back in the 1940s and 50s adorn the walls, contrasting with the modern technology and luxurious design.
In all, it’s an excellent option for those who wish to be centrally located in KL and who like a modern aesthetic.
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
