The rooms are known as “sarangs” (nests), beautifully designed Malay kampong villas and chalets. Choose from rooms, houses and villas on the hillside, in the forest, or on the beach. Many of the sarangs feature plunge pools, sun decks, or open-air bathtubs surrounded by trees. All rooms are air-conditioned, and wifi is free throughout the premises.
Come here for absolute tranquillity, it is remote and rustic here. This means there are no phones and the Wifi could be patchy, so you may get frustrated if you need to stay connected. But Japamala is the perfect place for anyone who wants to exit from the information highway and get in touch with a breath-taking tropical paradise instead.
