River Activities at Cardamom Tented Camp, Botum Sakor National Park

Many activities are available during your stay at Cardamom Tented Camp, from searching for wildlife and learning about the conservation work being done in this remote location to enjoying activities on the river and hiking in the jungle. 

Each stay begins with a scenic 1 hour trip down the Preak Tachan River, leading you towards the camp. You can head straight off on an introductory hike through the surrounding jungle or sit back with a cold drink by the river and watch the sun go down over nearby Botom Sakor.

During your stay you'll have the opportunity to take a kayak journey along the river - this is a fun experience but also offers some of the best wildlife sightings. Keep watch for hornbills, macaques, gibbons and a variety of rare birds.
