Built on the grand beginnings of the Khmer Empire, Cambodia has had a troubled history. This tour gives you the opportunity to explore its story. You will be blown away by the Angkorian Temples while the evidence of genocide committed by the Khmer Rouge is still shocking and raw. Although you might wish to miss this element for Cambodians this period is still very much part of every day life. Due to the lack of modernisation in parts of Cambodia over the last 40 or so years there is also a chance to explore some original (and in some places somewhat crumbling!) French colonial architecture.
- Exploring Cambodia's coastline, with untouched islands, great diving and sleepy towns
- Discovering the Temples of Angkor - simply magnificent even after hundreds of years
- Steering away from the main tourist trail to explore Battambang, Kep and Kampots colonial relics
- Taking in the highlights of the capital Phnom Penh
