Kabiki Hotel, Phnom Penh Cambodia, Phnom Penh and The South
The Kabiki is part of a family of small boutique hotels in Phnom Penh, each standing out from each other with charms and quirks. The location is unbeatable at the heart of the action with the Royal Palace a stone’s throw away.
With only 18 rooms scattered over a few buildings the hotel is compact, but the grounds are large enough for a good sized pool and smaller kids dip pool. The hotel owners have planted 500 trees themselves, so it feels like an urban oasis of sorts. The rooms are all of a simple design and if you have children there are plenty of different options to suit your needs, expect 1 double bed and bunk beds in the same room with a small balcony/terrace as standard for a family room.
Tepui Restaurant housed in a 1920’s Chinese House is associated with the hotel and is reached by a free tuk-tuk in about 10 minutes. Tepui is stunning and worth a visit. The hotel has a simple restaurant on site and serves pool snacks. You are just a short walk from many restaurants though and are really spoilt for choice in this location.
This hotel is ideal for families who like traditional design and are not bothered about luxurious rooms. It has everything you need, is good value for money and is in a perfect location.

Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
