This boutique resort sits next to a protected mangrove forest and a small beach, making for a lovely spot to relax along Kep’s shoreline. The property sits in tropical grounds and has a large swimming pool area with a jacuzzi. It looks out over the sandy stretch of land where you can lie out on sun loungers or walk along the jetty and admire the sunset.
Several of the buildings are renovated cottage ruins that have been restored using the original materials, giving it an authentic yet modern feel. As for dining options, you can enjoy your meals in the lovely restaurant, by the pool, on your terrace or on the sand by the water’s edge. International and Khmer cuisine are served with fine dining options and delicious local seafood.
Accommodation is in Villas, set back from the shoreline within lush gardens. All the rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the connecting Villa Suites are ideal for families. The bathrooms are a highlight with their glass doors opening to an outdoor bathtub surrounded by plants and surrounded by stone walls.
In all, Samanea is a lovely boutique resort with comfortable accommodation, extensive grounds and the ocean just steps away, making it especially great for families.
