The 252 is situated in a quiet area of Phnom Penh that has many galleries, restaurants and boutiques.  It is perfect for those who like to be just outside the tourist zone but still within easy reach of landmarks and attractions, such as the Royal Palace, the Central Market and the National Museum.

The style throughout this hotel is contemporary and quirky; each of the 19 rooms has been interior designed using traditional handmade silks and cotton that have been given a modern Parisian twist. The sublime colours perfectly set off the creative minimalist furniture.

The boutique vibe extends into the tropical gardens where elegant poolside pavilions provide a romantic spot in which to relax after a day’s sightseeing or to sample a cocktail from the bar. There is a thatched roof restaurant that is open all day and serves both Khmer and Western menus.

In conclusion, we simply think the 252 is a bit special - a boutique hotel in the original sense of the word: an intimate non chain hotel with a distinct personality.  


Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
