Roo Mansala

This boutique hotel, located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle, offers a peaceful and intimate stay, easy access to nearby sites, and fantastic views of Sigiriya and Pidurangala.
With architecture inspired by ancient traditions and modern comforts, the villas provide panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can relax by the pool, dine on locally sourced cuisine, and explore nearby historical sites. The tranquil setting and attentive service make it an ideal base for cultural exploration and relaxation.
The location of Roo Mansala couldn’t be much better for exploring the many historical sites of the Cultural Triangle.
Sigiriya and Pidurangala are just 1km away, the Dambulla Cave Temple is within a 30-minute drive, and Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hour away. When not exploring the plethora of cultural sites of the area, cool down in the pool or relax on the viewing platform with spectacular views of Sigiriya and Pidulrangala, as well as the jungle and wildlife in between.
The Rooms
When it first opened in 2018, the hotel comprised three villas, each with an upstairs and downstairs room. Since then, two new rooms have been added, featuring private balconies with plunge pools.
Although all the rooms are spacious and well decorated with colourful themes and a distinctly Sri Lankan vibe, we’d strongly recommend the upper-level options, as the views of Sigiriya and Pidurangala are best enjoyed from the balconies.
