DAY 1 DEPART THE UK

Depart London Heathrow for Colombo, Sri Lanka.

DAYS 2 & 3 NOTARY’S HOUSE

On arrival at Colombo Airport, meet your local chauffeur-guide and transfer to your boutique hotel, where you will be for a two-night stay. Enjoy a relaxed start to your holiday here: splash in the pool, explore the grounds, or sit back and enjoy the hospitality as you adjust to 'holiday' time.

DAY 4 & 5 YALA NATIONAL PARK

Your driver will transport you to Yala National Park for your safari adventure. Stay here in a beautiful tented safari camp. Yala is known for its leopard population, but there is a wide variety of animal and birdlife. You can observe elephants in the park, sambar deer, macaque, purple-faced langur, and a bounty of birds. While staying here, you may even be lucky enough to see the rare sloth bear. You'll have plenty of time for safari drives and an excellent opportunity to explore and experience the park, its wildlife, and its natural beauty.

The camp has the necessary comforts and services to make the whole experience hassle-free while retaining a sense of adventure. It is set up before your arrival, so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds and sights of the wildlife surrounding you. Entrance fees, safari drives, expert nature guides, meals, snacks, and drinks are all included in your stay here.

DAYS 6 - 10  TANGALLE 

With your chauffeur guide, you'll travel 2 hours southwest towards Tangalle. Here you'll check in to a lovely family-friendly boutique hotel with ten rooms, a pool, great food and a warm welcome. The hotel is on Mawella beach, with some of the safest swimming and bodyboarding in Sri Lanka. You can arrange surf lessons at nearby Hiriketiya too. 

Spend your time enjoying the chilled-out beach vibe and local food. During your stay, we'll arrange a unique farm experience with a local family where you'll learn how to make a delicious treat loved by all Sri Lankans. Producers are being squeezed by large companies using factory methods, but this couple's traditional livelihood is more secure by supplementing their income with visits from a few tourists. 

DAY 11  FLY HOME

You'll be transferred to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
