The Palace Downtown Dubai,
The Arabian Gulf
Info : The Palace Downtown Dubai
The Palace is an opulent and luxurious Middle Eastern themed hotel in the vibrant Downtown area of Dubai. The location is within walking distance of the Burj Khalifa (World’s tallest building), the impressive Dubai fountain and the dining, entertainment and shopping of Souk Al Bahar.
The hotel has 242 rooms all with views of the fountain, lake or Old Town. There are a range of rooms all featuring tasteful Arabian décor and mod cons like free wifi, flat screen TV and CD/DVD players. Even the lead in “deluxe rooms” are spacious and of a high standard but room sizes increase and facilities become more lavish as you move up through the room categories to the suite levels.
The award winning hotel has a range of fantastic restaurants including a superb Argentinian Grill, a Thai restaurant and another serving Arabian and Oriental delicacies from an open kitchen. Further facilities include a beautiful spa with views of the lake, a well-equipped fitness centre and a picturesque outdoor swimming pool lined with palm trees surrounded by comfortable sun beds.
As is usually the case in Dubai, city based hotels are significantly cheaper than beach hotels. Therefore a stay here is a terrific luxury experience without the expense of a beach hotel, particularly ideal for honeymooners and couples stopping in Dubai en route to one of our specialist Asian beach destinations.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
Lyria was absolutely brilliant! The whole process of booking the holiday could not have been smoother - every query was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The holiday itself was wonderful - totally relaxing - I have never been on a holiday where everything ran like clockwork - absolutely nothing went wrong - transfers were excellent, hotels were brilliant.
