Set on nine acres of lush tropical gardens, the Leela is a majestic and a rather impressive place to stay in Bangalore, built to pay tribute to the grandeur of Mysore. It finds a great balance between business functionality, convenience, and leisure. Should shameless consumerism be on your agenda in Bangalore, the Palace has its very own shopping centre attached to the hotel. If you want luxury in Bangalore, this is where you want to stay.
In southern Karnataka, Bangalore often gets overlooked in favour of Jaipur, New Delhi, and Mumbai, but it has plenty to offer visitors interested in beauty and culture. There are beautiful gardens, museums, palaces, temples, and vivid performances to see. Bannerghatta National Park is a short drive away if you need a nature escape. At the Leela Palace, there are plenty of impressive facilities for your entertainment: a fitness centre, state of the art entertainment, high-end dining, and of course, the aforementioned shopping mall.
The rooms (357 of them in total) are suitably sumptuous with all the usual modern comforts and entertainment facilities. Royal Premiere Rooms are a great pick for extra space, ultra-modern business facilities, and great city views.
The Leela is not an intimate or boutique-style hotel, so if you’re looking for rustic charm, history and character, you won’t find it here. Instead, you’ll find a world-class international standard luxury hotel.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
