The Deserted Islands of Gili Bike & Boat Tour, Sekotong

Lombok is famous for the Gili Isles that are situated off the north western tip of the island. These islands have long been on the backpacker trail and provide a bustling mix of sand, surf, snorkeling and lively evenings.

However, there are gilis (the Sasak name for small islands) off the southwest coast that offer a peaceful and at times uninhabited alternative. This tour gives you the opportunity to spend a day relaxing on beautiful beaches surrounded by crystal clear seas.

You will be picked up from your hotel from where you will be driven to Lombok's remote south western coast. Leaving from Tawun Beach, an outrigger boat will take you first to the secluded and uninhabited Gili Kedis, where you will spend the morning. The privacy on offer here has seen it dubbed the honeymoon island. You will be free to enjoy the peace and tranquillity with or without your guide and snorkel amongst beautiful corals and tropical fish.

You will be picked up in time to be taken to Gili Sudak for a fish BBQ lunch. The afternoon will be spent at the larger and private Gili Nanggu, where there will be further opportunity to relax on the beach and swim or snorkel in the turquoise waters. The boat will drop you back at Tawun beach from where you will be taken back to your hotel.
