The Jayakarta Suites Komodo sits upon the sandy beaches of Labuan Bajo, is an excellent hotel for those wanting to visit the world-famous Komodo Dragons. Just a half-hour boat journey from Labuan Bajo, the Komodo National Park, is host to these giant ancient lizards, an extremely popular sightseeing experience for tourists visiting this part of Indonesia.
The hotel itself offers 71 suite rooms, with categories ranging from the Deluxe Suite to Presidential Suite. All of the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with views over either the surrounding hills or ocean. The décor is bright and modern with subtle traditional twists.
The Jayakarta Suite Komodo has a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a spa, and an outdoor tennis court to entertain guests throughout their stay. The hotel has one bar and one restaurant offering mainly European style food, as well as snacks and drinks.
Alternative day trips to the favoured Komodo dragon experience may be tours to the nearby Mirror Cave, Snake Cave and Cunca Rami Waterfall, which are all easily accessible from the hotel. The coral reefs line the coast, perfect for scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing or Sea Safari Cruises.
