Info : Karma Hotel
Karma Jimbaran is a family friendly deluxe hotel set just back from the beautiful beach of Jimbaran Bay, South Bali. With an idyllic setting, elegant villas and plenty of entertainment the Karma hotel has plenty to offer its guests.
The hotel is home to forty expansive luxury pool villas, all of which are decorated with contemporary Balinese designs, light bright colours and elegant wooden furnishings and this creates an airy and sophisticated ambience around the hotel. These pool villas range from one to six bedrooms, perfect for everyone from romantic couples to large active families. Each villa benefits from its own garden courtyard, outdoor shower, sundeck area and private swimming pool.
There are plenty activities on offer both inside and around the hotel including cultural trips, big-game fishing and cookery classes. The excellent kids club, 3 Monkeys, provides a vast range of entertainment for children throughout the day and night, perfect for kids looking for some fun and adults seeking some peace. Everything from cultural activities, outdoor exercise and arts and crafts are on offer to make sure there is something for every child. Family based excursions are also available from the club.
The spa offers a wide range of organic and personalised therapies within its indoor and outdoor facilities. A wide range of fitness activities including tai chi, boxing and aqua aerobics are available to balance the body as well as the mind. The Karma Lounge restaurant hosts an extensive array of Asia cuisines, fresh tropical cocktails and a selection of excellent live music, though other dining options are also available a short walk from the hotel. A special in-villa BBQ is also available- where guests can enjoy the luxury of eating within the grounds of their own private villa.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.

Six great and amazingly different hotels - we would happily recommend any of them. We had three excellent guides as well. And we lost track of the number of "Wow" moments. In addition to the obvious, including Paramban, Borobodur and Bromo, we would add our tour of the markets + rickshaw ride in Malang, and having coffee with Mr Rai at the Agung Rai Gallery in Bali. Our guide in Bali, Otok (?) was excellent at explaining local culture, and we left an offering at his family shrine.
