Secluded in a mangrove bay, Santi Sari has it all: fantastic service, beautiful rooms, a lovely swimming pool and great food. Located five minutes away from the village of Goris in Perjarakan, this relaxed boutique hotel is great for those who want to explore the wonders of this region.
Pemuteran is fantastic for snorkelling and diving, and both can be enjoyed in Menjangan National Park nearby. The national park is also home to rainforest, mangroves and savannah can be trekked on foot or horseback. Or take a day trip to explore the Bali Barat National Park and Marine Park by boat and soak up some stunning views.
Santi Sari consists of 10 guest and main house suites that all boast a hand-carved Balinese four-poster bed, private courtyard, and sea or mountain views. The more formal and luxurious suites at Santi Sari main house overlook the magnificent lotus pond and central shrine, and the relaxing theme is echoed throughout the hotel grounds as you discover antique day beds in covered gazebos, perfect for curling up with a book.
It might be worth noting that the closest beach for guest use is 10 minutes away by boat. However, we think this concession is worth it given the range of activities available in this beautiful location.
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
