If you’re looking for a welcome change of pace from the busy seaside resorts, Waka Gangga, a small and remote hotel, offers exactly that. The rolling hills, black sand beaches and surrounding view of the green paddy fields as well as the chance to really get back to nature combine to make this hotel the perfect place to truly unwind and relax with no distractions.
Though guests are not able to swim in the sea, Waka Gangga’s swimming pool provides the opportunity to cool off against a backdrop of striking sea views. The hotel’s restaurant and bar also overlook the beachfront and guests are invited to sample the complimentary daily Sunset Cocktail whilst they watch the sun drop below the horizon.
Horseback rides along the beach, treks among the paddy fields and trips to a nearby temple are available, but many guests prefer to view their stay as the perfect chance to completely relax in the beautiful natural surroundings.
Villas are decked out with rustic, traditional thatched roofs and full-length window panels, as well as their own sundecks. All of these features create a comfortable and natural environment throughout the rooms.
