On the banks of the Nam Tha River, Luang Namtha is a compact town surrounded by astounding ethnic diversity and picturesque mountain ridges. You’ll begin your tour with a visit to the modest but interesting Luang Namtha Ethnic Museum before continuing to the villages of Akha, Tai Dam and Tai Lue.
Following a picnic lunch, cycle through the paddy fields before reaching the flowing waters of Nam Dee Waterfall. Afterwards, return to the town to wander around the mountain-top stupa of Phoumpoa where you can take in the great view over Luang Namtha and its surroundings. In the afternoon, your tour will end with a visit to the local food market.
