Bubu Long Beach Resort,
Malaysia, Eastern Malaysia
Info : Bubu Long Beach Resort
A relaxing resort on Long Beach of Pulau Perhentian Kecil, the smaller of the Perhentian Islands off the northeast of mainland Malaysia. It’s a comfortable base for anyone wanting a relaxing beach experience with fantastic diving and snorkeling opportunities.
Located right on the beach, Bubu Long Beach has a fantastic location and offers a great value experience. Composed of 16 villas with 38 rooms, there is a homely and intimate feel to the resort. Whilst very comfortable, the accommodation is not luxury and there is no swimming pool available to visitors. For the right guests, this will be no problem as the water in the nearby sea is better than any swimming pool!
There is a good local diving school where you can train for your PADI certificate. Visitors to the area include sea turtles and small reef fish so there’s plenty to see underwater.
In summary, this is a good value, comfortable beach resort with fantastic sea exploratory experiences on the northeast coast of Malaysia. It is less suited to those wanting a luxury experience, it’s a great option for those wanting a more hands-off and independent beach stay.
Comfort - This is our lead in category. There will generally be a no frills approach and while some will be characterful, some will do exactly what it says on the tin - provide a clean, comfortable and good value place to spend the night. These places are normally 3* hotels.
