Info : Four Seasons Langkawi
In a secluded stretch of Langkawi’s north coast, away from more crowded areas, lies the Four Seasons Resort. It’s perfect for couples and families looking to indulge in some serious rest and relaxation.
Langkawi is famous for its beautiful beaches, turquoise waters and natural riches. From swimming in the sea, to exploring tropical forests, to visiting the biodiverse mangroves and spotting wild animals (including crocodiles!) There is so much to see and do.
The Four Seasons Langkawi has a very relaxed, grand atmosphere. Buildings are rather spread out for privacy, you can rent out complimentary bikes to get around or order a golf cart to transport you to the various locations within the resort’s estate. As can be expected, the service and attention to detail is world-class and staff are incredibly well trained and welcoming.
Four Season’s accommodation is comprised of various villas and pavilions. Beach Villas are best for families as they feature two bedrooms and a private plunge pool. Pavilions are spread over two levels, the lower featuring rather nice baths within a private garden. All rooms are well appointed, some offer spectacular views over the Andaman Ocean beyond, others only partial views so it’s best to consult with your travel expert as to what the best choice is for your requirements.
The Kid’s Club is fantastic and the onsite spa offers award winning treatments. There are separate family and adult pools which ensures everyone can relax in an environment that suits them. There are many activities on offer, from rock climbing, archery, to treks around the nearby Kilim Karst Forest Park. There are also three restaurants on site, so you’ll always have a choice of dining options.
This is a very relaxing and luxurious resort, perfect for both couples and families looking for a tropical paradise in which to wind-down.
Ultimate - There are very few hotels we would describe as 'ultimate'. Hotels in this category must have absolutely everything anyone could want and really be aiming for the stars. These hotels generally go well above and beyond and they would always be at the very top end of the market. These are for clients looking for that extra special place.
The train journey from Calcutta to Darjeeling was a wonderful experience of the real India whilst everyone we met was friendly and courteous.
