Info : Anawratha (epic)
On limited dates during the year the Anawratha makes as 12 day voyage along the Chindwin River. Sailing aboard this boat is a great way to explore this exotic region or the remote reaches of the Irrawaddy. Poke through cave temples and monasteries, marvel at glistening pagodas, visit an elephant camp, walk through silk weaving factories and interact with tribes in the rarely-visited villages.
Whichever trip you choose, you’ll be treated to cultural demonstrations, language and cooking lessons, cocktail parties and exquisite dinners. Relax onboard in the Swedish-style sauna or take a dip in the jacuzzi pool.
The vessel has sixteen lovely and very large cabins, including rather extravagant suites with oodles of space to spread out and put your feet up. Some suites have their own private jacuzzis, and all of them have private balconies for watching the world float by. Other first-class amenities include a jacuzzi plunge pool, cabanas, exquisite indoor and outdoor dining areas and a panoramic sun deck for evening cocktails.
Anawratha is a great for travelling in style to some beautiful remote regions. However, the generously sized vessel can only navigate these remote rivers during a short window when water levels are high. Call us to discuss the specific departure dates, if they don't meet your requirements then we can advise you on the other cruise options for your dates. Some boats have shallower hulls and operate throughout the year.

Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
