Info : Discovering Lashio
Join your guide to explore characterful Namp Kyant village on the outskirts of Lashio, the perfect destination for exploring tiny villages inhabited with Shan state’s Palaung minorities. The tribes here are skilled in farming, handicrafts and construction, and you will be able to see the fruits of their labour and admire their colourful, distinctive attire. The tour then continues to Lashio’s hot springs with plenty of time for a relaxing dip. Upon return to town, head up to the peak of Manzi Paya Hill and take in the spectacular surroundings from this vantage point.
We enjoyed a 3 week trip exploring both the well known places as well as the less developed areas. We also balanced the trip with a variety of walks and activities as well as time for several half day breaks to relax. The Myanmar people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The colours of the country are outstanding, wonderful dusty landscapes with rice fields and palm trees as well as so many amazing pagodas rich in colour and symbolism. Our best parts were the less well known places but Lake Inle and Bagan are must do places and are still not overrun by tourists. Experience Travel Group tailored a trip for our needs and knew how to do so and suggest appropriate hotels and means of travel.
