Train and transfer from Kalaw to Lake Inle

Spend the morning wandering around the charming hill station of Kalaw before taking a train to Shwe Nyaung. Trains in Myanmar are basic and move slowly, but are a fantastic way to see the beautiful countryside and travel like the locals do.  Then drive to the town of Nyaung Shwe, which is located on the edge of Lake Inle. Board a private local boat and cruise to your hotel, enjoying lunch on board.
