DAY 1 – DEPART THE UK

Depart the UK on your overnight flight to Myanmar.

DAY 2 – 4 YANGON exploring at a flexible pace

On arrival in Yangon your private guide will meet you for the transfer to your accommodation. After an evening to relax and a good night's sleep, you’ll begin discovering Myanmar with a specially devised city tour. Our Signature Yangon Tour is timed to dodge the crowds and get beneath the skin of the city, it takes in the vibrant harbour area, the elegant colonial architecture and the colourful local markets. You’ll ride the circle train to get a taste of daily life, take a rickshaw to Chinatown and generally soak up the atmosphere of the city.

DAY 5 – 7 BAGAN extraordinary sites and hot-air balloon ride

It's a short flight from Yangon to Bagan where your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Once checked-in you will have the rest of the day free to settle in or to explore at leisure.

During your time here your guide will take you on a tour of the extraordinary sights. You’ll explore the famous archaeological zone and beyond taking in magical sunsets and local-life with quiet moments away from the crowds. The pinnacle of this experience will be a hot-air balloon ride over Bagan, soaring over the vast expanse of one of Southeast Asia’s most spectacular sites. With vistas of the snaking ribbon of the Irrawaddy River and the thousand year old temples this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

DAY 8 – 14 NGAPALI BEACh golden sandy beaches

Fly to Thandwe, the gateway for Ngapali Beach, Burma’s beautiful Bay of Bengal-facing peninsula is fringed with golden sandy beaches. You’ll spend six full days here relaxing by the beautiful beach. Enjoy the facilities of your hotel, swim in the azure ocean or if you fancy a bit of exploring, there are boat trips, watersports and small fishing villages to be discovered.

DAY 15 – YANGON a final adventure in the city

Today you return to Yangon for one final experience. The Shwedagon Pagoda is probably Myanmar’s most famous landmark and this afternoon you’ll visit the glittering golden pagoda with your guide. Explore the landmark and sit back to take in the changing colours in the setting sun, a fantastic way to end your adventure in Myanmar

DAY 16 – FLY HOME

Your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
