A simple, good quality hotel in the hills surrounding Kalaw with mock-Tudor décor and pleasant open spaces. The 32 rooms are divided into two categories, superior and deluxe, and while all furnished with basic facilities, they are clean and comfortable with a pleasant local feel. Bathrooms are spacious with standard fittings and amenities. Dinner taken outside on the lawn is a lovely treat and perfect for watching the sun dip below the foothills and countryside. The whole hotel has a laid-back atmosphere that fits well with lovely, lazy hill station town and is one of the best options in town for a great base to explore the mountains around Kalaw or for a stopover.
Comfort - This is our lead in category. There will generally be a no frills approach and while some will be characterful, some will do exactly what it says on the tin - provide a clean, comfortable and good value place to spend the night. These places are normally 3* hotels.
