A contemporary design hotel along the beachfront with spacious rooms and an array of dining options.
The W Hotel sits along the beachfront area in the lively Shatti Al Qurum area of Muscat. Aiming to blend contemporary design with notes from Omani heritage, you’ll get a great idea of the hotel’s style upon entering the lobby. Dark walls, marble flooring and pops of colourful furnishings and patterned rugs set the tone for this property.
You won’t be short on dining options, with seven restaurants and bars to choose from serving a wide variety of international cuisines. The gym and pool areas are open 24 hours a day and the Away Spa is a nice spot to indulge in a great array of treatments. The lovely pool and deck faces out to the ocean and has plenty of loungers and shady cabanas to relax under.
It’s quite a large hotel, with 279 rooms and suites in total, all with views of either the ocean, gardens or pool. Rooms are quite spacious, but their stand-out feature is the incredibly opulent marble bathrooms.
The W is in a good location to be close to both the city centre and the coast. However the edgy style may not be everyone’s cup of tea!
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
