As with all our holidays, this itinerary is just a starting point. We can tailor it completely to suit your budget, pace and style. To find out more about how this suggested itinerary could inspire your holiday, talk to us today.

DAY 1 DEPART THE UK

Depart the UK for Colombo, Sri Lanka

DAY 2 & 3 NEGOMBO

You will be met at the airport by your chauffeur-guide and his modern, air-conditioned car. Your first stay is at The Wallawwa; to call it an airport hotel would be an insult, but it is nearby. A converted ancestral manor house is a seriously beautiful place from which to begin your holiday, and the food is fantastic too—a great place to unwind after the flight and ease your way into Sri Lanka.

DAYS 4 - 6 CULTURAL TRIANGLE

Your private chauffeur guide will drive you to Ulagalla, the most elegant hotel in the Cultural Triangle region by a country mile. There are just ten suite rooms and every facility you could need. Use the hotel as a base to explore the Cultural Triangle and the many incredible ancient sites in the region. The time here is your own.

DAYS  7 & 8 KANDY

Your next stay is at The Kandy House. The converted aristocratic manor house is a fine example of Kandyan architecture and an excellent base for exploring or simply relaxing in beautiful and stylish surroundings.

Visit the famous Temple of the Tooth, play Golf at the Victoria Golf Course, explore the vibrant street markets, and stroll around the Kandy Lake. Kandy has seduced generations of visitors and continues to charm. Its rich history survives to this day.

 DAYS 9- 11 TEA COUNTRY

Travel by train up through Sri Lanka’s mountainous interior to a beautifully converted tea plantation bungalow, one of four converted by Tea Trails. Experience the high-life of a colonial tea planter. For the intrepid, there are many excellent walks and activities available before returning to enjoy high tea and cocktails at the stunning location beside Castlereagh Lake.

DAYS 12 &13 GALLE

Move south to the historic town of Galle with its famous old Dutch Fort. Amangalla is a truly one-off experience and a magical place to stay.

 DAYS 14 - 16 TANGALLE

Now head to the fabulous beach resort of Amanwella near Tangalle. The ultimate in beach-side bliss, this hotel has it all in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Thirty ultra-modern suite rooms, all have private swimming pools and breathtaking views of the paradise bay below. Without a doubt, the most exclusive hotel in the country. Total relaxation.

DAY 17 DEPART SRI LANKA

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to nearby Koggala airport where you'll board an Air Taxi to Colombo. During the low-altitude flight, enjoy impressive views on clear days of the mountains on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other.

Land at Colombo and check-in for your return flight to the UK.

As every holiday is unique to you, prices vary. To give you an indication, two-week holidays range from roughly £3,000 to £8,000 per adult, with an average price of £3,500. We also offer substantial child and seasonal discounts.
