Sri Lanka, Colombo, Negombo & Around
Info : Ceilao Villas
A small boutique hotel with just six rooms in bustling Colombo, Ceilao Villas is a converted family home creating an oasis from the energetic city.
Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka and boasts a variety of attractions and experiences. Just a short drive from Ceilao is the famous Pettah Market with its many street bazaars. The Dutch Hospital with its fantastic restaurants, including the Ministry of Crab, is also nearby. Enjoy high tea at Sri Lanka’s premier tea producer, Dilmah’s café. Explore the colonial streets around the port or visit the National Museum home to array of fine art, artefacts embodying Sri Lanka’s history and culture.
All six rooms have wooden furnishings and modern amenities. There are two swimming pools, one on the garden level and another on the rooftop. Cocktails and snacks can be ordered poolside all day and late into the evening. There are a variety of local and international meals on the menu and chefs can personalise dishes on request.
All in all, this is a very comfortable hotel in Sri Lanka’s capital.
Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
