Saffrons Beach Villa,
Sri Lanka, The South Coast
Info : Saffrons Beach Villa
This modern, sustainable beachfront villa is the brainchild of Sri Lanka’s own architect Philip Weeraratne, who dedicated five years to the painstaking process of design and construction before it opened in 2007. Saffron’s Beach Villa takes contemporary design to a whole new level, with moving glass walls, the purest of drinking water extracted from the humidity in the air, state-of-the-art entertainment and communications technology, and the villa’s own private island.
Stylish, sleek minimalism and comfort are top priority at Saffron’s Beach Villa, originally designed to create a space capturing the beauty of every season. Four suites make up the property, two with air-conditioning on the ground floor, and two open and breezy suites with ceiling fans on the upper floor. The villa sleeps eight guests, with two king sized beds, one queen bed, and two attachable king singles on offer. Guests are surrounded by the sheer beauty of the villa’s natural surroundings: close to one acre of lovely seaside gardens, and one of Sri Lanka’s most stunning beaches, Habaradua.
Twelve kilometres south of Galle Fort, the popular attraction named a UNESCO World Heritage site, Saffron’s Beach Villa is an ideal base for exploring Yala National Park, taking a safari, visiting the majestic Sinharaja Rainforest, and exploring Sri Lankan beaches and culture. Booked on a full-board basis, the villa offers fantastic value for large groups. The trained Singapore, Thai, and British chefs create world class food, reported as the finest cuisine in the country. Moonlit dinners can be accommodated on the villa’s very own private island. This tropical modern villa is unique and forward thinking, the very finest in sustainability, comfort, and style.
Saffrons is not currently available for private hire.
All the hotels were excellent - lovely rooms, really friendly staff and some great Sri Lankan food, especially at Ulagalla, Kandy House and Tea Trails.
