Near the historic town of Galle, Sisindu C is a characterful villa, perfect for families or large groups looking for a beautiful setting to relax in. With contemporary décor and fantastic views over the Indian Ocean, Sinsindu C is the perfect place to relax, a nice contrast to nearby Galle.
The lower floor of the villa comprises an open plan living/dining area, with a kitchen and large ‘chill-out’ sofas. The entire back wall of the house is made of bamboo shutters, which can be fully opened so that the indoor areas seamlessly extend out onto a wide veranda, outdoor swimming pool, manicured garden, and then the white-sand beach. Two stylish en-suite double bedrooms are found on the upstairs floor, both of which lead out onto a wide sea-facing balcony.
The garden has a pool and lawn area for guests to relax and sunbathe in, with access to the beautiful beach and sea. The house is decorated in a modern Mediterranean feel, with crisp white walls and bright turquoise accents creating a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The villa is fully staffed with a chauffeur, night watchman, and chef.
Galle is only a short drive from Sisindu C with many activities and sites to entertain guests, as is Unawatuna. Neighbouring the villa are a few beach bars and cafes, as well as a turtle hatchery which guests may visit and in the right season see one of nature’s oldest creatures.
Villa - The 'Villa' is a similar concept to the 'holiday home' in Europe, with some key differences. Our villas in Asia are always fully staffed with cooking and service provided for you. Staff will generally cook meals to your specification and purchase food and drink for you at cost price. They are generally pretty smart and luxurious too and feel in many ways like a small private hotel. Nonetheless, your villa is still effectively a home and therefore you cannot expect the same level of training, English speaking or slickness that you might expect from a hotel at a similar cost. As the owners are not generally holiday professionals we cannot guarantee the quality of a villa matches expectations in a way we can with hotels. That said, the personal local touch means villas are generally much more friendly and interactive than hotels and have much to recommend them. The privacy and space makes them wonderful for families, groups of friends or couples looking for privacy and relaxation.
