Info : Bangkok Countryside Full Day Cycle Tour

A charming rural village, Minburi is home to endless canals, sprawling rice fields, and centuries of Muslim and Buddhist history. The San Saeb Canal connects the two main rivers in Bangkok, and the 40km bike ride follows the canal past market towns, tropical landscapes, and many wonderful temples. Experience the heart of rural Thailand, with traditional wooden housing, rice mills, fish farms, mosques, and a medicine shop from times gone by.

This day trip explores the Muslim history of King Rama III and the Southern Thai Muslims invited to fight against Khmer invasion. Many of their descendants still reside in Minburi. Travel by bike and boat, and enjoy a traditional Thai noodle lunch at a local restaurant. Suitable for anyone who can manoeuvre a bike!

Customer Feedback
We arrived back in the UK at 7.00 this morning and I couldn’t wait to thank you for organising such a fabulous holiday for us! Everything went so smoothly and we were really impressed with the quality and style of the hotels you chose for us, the convenient locations, and the local services - absolutely First Class! We had some wonderful food, did some great activities and we particularly enjoyed the Elephant Day which was something we shall remember for the rest of our lives. Also we really enjoyed the trip to the River Kwai and the amazing River Kwai Resotel. I shall certainly recommend your company to anyone who is considering a holiday in South East Asia – thank you again!
