Historic Ayutthaya Full Day Cycle Tour,
Thailand, Around Bangkok
Info : Historic Ayutthaya Full Day Cycle Tour
Just north of Bangkok lie the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, once Siam’s most important ancient city. This relaxed 25km trail is suitable for just about any riding level, and combines a pleasant and scenic ride with Thailand’s most treasured ruins. Traversing the city walls, you will explore the grand beauty of crumbling Ayutthaya, and see the stunning Wat Phra Mahatat, with its famous Buddha relic entwined with tree roots.
Following a charming country trail parallel to the mighty Chao Phraya River, the ride weaves through back roads with quaint local villages and lovely country landscapes. Cross the river on the ferry and enjoy a waterside lunch, followed by temple exploration and a real highlight – Bang Pa In, the royal summer palace of former Thai kings.
We arrived back in the UK at 7.00 this morning and I couldn’t wait to thank you for organising such a fabulous holiday for us! Everything went so smoothly and we were really impressed with the quality and style of the hotels you chose for us, the convenient locations, and the local services - absolutely First Class! We had some wonderful food, did some great activities and we particularly enjoyed the Elephant Day which was something we shall remember for the rest of our lives. Also we really enjoyed the trip to the River Kwai and the amazing River Kwai Resotel. I shall certainly recommend your company to anyone who is considering a holiday in South East Asia – thank you again!
