Lanna Countryside Full Day Cycle Tour, Chiang Mai

Slightly east of Chiang Mai, the Lanna countryside offers spectacular off-the-beaten-tourist-track scenery and a glimpse into rural Thailand, complete with oxen and and water buffalo. This 40km cycling tour begins in Sankampaeng, with a thorough exploration of farming life, vibrant market trade, fruit orchards, Buddhist tradition, and plenty of sprawling rice fields and plantations.

A highlight at the foot of the mountains is the Sankampaeng Hot Springs, where you have the opportunity to take a soothing dip for curing purposes, if, of course, you can handle the intense heat! Lunch is served at a nearby restaurant, a traditional feast of Kao-Soy: yellow noodles and chicken curry. This gentle ride with a few non-strenuous undulations is suitable for any rider
