Khao Sok Tree Houses, Khao Sok National Park
Thailand, West Coast and Islands

Info : Khao Sok Tree Houses

Khao Sok Tree Houses are located right in the tree canopy, some as high as 15 meters from the ground. Just outside of Khao Sok national park, which is famous for its animal and colourful bird life, the tree houses provide a unique way to experience nature and provide an interesting base for exploration of this beautiful wildlife haven. Khao Sok jungle itself is amongst one of the oldest rainforests in the world and the limestone rock that forms the geography of the area creates striking landscape features.

As day turns to night the Khao Sok Tree Houses are lit by oil lamps which give a warm light as you watch the sun set over the jungle. Accommodation is basic and rooms feature a double bed, mosquito net, fan, private toilet and cold water shower.

Rating

Eco/Adventure - This category covers gorgeous lodges in the jungle, comfortable safari camps and dreamy, but simple, beach cabanas. These places defy conventional categorisation: what is communing with nature to one person may be terrifying bugs to another! Many of these places are very comfortable and the service generally of a very high level - but please read the website review carefully and/or talk to us and be sure to have understood what you are letting yourselves in for!

Customer Feedback
Every guide, every driver, every tour, every pick-up etc was brilliant... We always felt we were in harmony with local community, not a voyeur looking in... Jake in Chang Mai was amazing. But everyone was first class.
