The Nest Beach Resort is tucked away next to Mu Ko Chumphon National Park, just 30 minutes drive from Chumphon Town.
The spacious rooms and simple yet high-quality decor complement the natural beauty of the area perfectly, and the secluded location makes the resort an ideal spot to unwind by the ocean.
With just 21 rooms in total and the beach hidden away, you're guaranteed a relaxing experience. There are no speedboats or jet skis zooming back and forth and the only noises you'll hear are the lapping of the waves and the occasional bird song from the surrounding trees.
The quiet and peaceful nature ambiance of The Nest is largely due to its secluded location, so there aren't many other dining options within a walkable distance. Luckily the onsite restaurant is superb. The 'Rak-Talay' offers international dishes as well as more traditional Southern Thai cuisine, plus a selection of suitable beach-side beverages, of course.
An idyllic setting by anyone's standards, The Nest is a hidden gem in Chumphon, Thailand's 'gateway to the South'.
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
