Getting to Six Senses in Laamu involves a seaplane ride and a boat trip: a thrill in itself, and once you arrive, you won’t feel like going anywhere. This resort is barefoot luxury at its best but also modern, social, sustainable, and easy on the eye. Come here for great surfing, beautiful accommodation, comprehensive wellness, and spectacular dining.
You will have endless amounts of space in any of the luxurious villas on offer at Six Senses: the smallest one-bedroom villas are an impressive 108 square meters in size. Some villas are located on the beach, and others are perched on stilts above the lagoon. All villas are decked out with ultra-modern amenities and technology, and all have outdoor bathrooms, private gardens (the villas sitting atop the treetop have private water gardens), and panoramic upper decks for taking it all in. If you have small children with you, it’s best to remain on the beach, but you may as well do it in style with a Family Villa: it has loads of space, its private pool and tree top deck.
Six restaurants and bars offer a wide variety of dining options, everything from Maldivian and Kaiseki cuisine to casual poolside fare. Experience Travel Group would be happy to organise full or half-board dining as part of your stay - talk to us to find out more. Either way, it’s top-notch, locally sourced and organic, and guests generally come away raving about the choice available and quality.
The range of accommodation types available and the trendy atmosphere make this resort a great all-round choice: it’s equally good for families, couples, groups, or lone rangers. Surfing enthusiasts populate the resort between May and October, but it’s a fantastic choice all-year-round.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
