Travelling by train along the coast is both fun and a great way to discover lesser-known Vietnam.
Spend the day enjoying Hanoi on this tour which is educational and entertaining for all ages.
In the morning visit Hanoi’s Museum of Ethnology and learn about Vietnam's many ethnic groups. Children love this interactive museum and the sprawling grounds, with reproduction traditional houses, are fun and interesting for all the family to explore.
Return to your hotel and enjoy a few hours pool or leisure time. You might want to opt for a light lunch today in preparation for your afternoon visit to the Sofitel Metropole Hotel where between the hours of 3pm and 6pm there is a legendary chocolate buffet with every kind of cake, pastry and chocolate based delicacy to devour! At around 6pm a cyclo will collect you all from the Sofitel and take you to watch a Water Puppet Show.
In the evening, if you still have room for food, there is the option of a casual dinner at Pho 24; a local chain where you can slurp on Pho noodle soup, spring rolls and fresh Vietnamese salads while Mum and Dad can sip on a cold beer!
