The Victoria Express is the Victoria Hotel Groups private carriage on the overnight journey between Hanoi and Sapa. There are a handful of companies operating the route, but the Victoria Express stands out by considerable distance.
With the most comfortable beds, finest food and best cabins; the Victoria Express is the ideal way to make the long journey to Sapa pass in a blink. The air-conditioned, varnished hard wood cabins are available with two or four berths.
Departing in the evening from Hanoi station, the train arrives in Lao Cai on the Chinese border at 6am, where the hotels vehicles wait to greet you and take you on the final leg of the journey, through misty mountain slopes and terraced rice fields.
Travelling on the Victoria Express is an experience in itself and a magical part of any trip to the northern highlands of Vietnam. Please note that the Victoria Express can only be booked by guests staying at the Victoria Sapa Hotel.
