The most enticing feature of Villa Song is the colonial décor – the building’s façade is white and very grand, with the appearance of a French Colonial mansion. Inside, the decoration is fresh, modern and clean with lovely period features such as curved windows, free standing bathtubs and four-poster beds.
Rooms are light and airy with plenty of space, nicely furnished and have lovely bathrooms. Most of the rooms and suites are individually designed with charming colonial touches, as well good quality essential amenities and comfortable beds. Be sure to speak to us about getting a room with a balcony or a full view of the Saigon river.
The gardens are well kept and create a lovely relaxing atmosphere around the grounds of the hotel. The pool is fantastic – large, clean and surrounded by trees and plants. The restaurant also overlooks the garden and river, serving good quality Vietnamese and international cuisine all day. There’s also a bar, fitness room, spa and river cruises on offer.
The hotel itself is located right on the banks of the Saigon River in a lovely, peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Saigon. Guests can take advantage of the free shuttle boat service between the hotel and the town, which leaves 6 times a day and takes 15 minutes to cruise into Saigon. It takes about 30 minutes by car or taxi.
