Rosie Collingridge

This was taken by Rosie Collingridge who did a very adventurous tour with us to Abode. David Collingridge writes:

“Taken by Rosie of trekking back down from the Abode, we had only just set off. On the way up the water was only an inch or so. My hiking boots proved useless and the benefits of the cheap flip flops became immediately apparent. Even the plastic sheets worn round the shoulders turned out to be more effective than our waterproofs. Throughout the trek down Grandma quietly trudged behind clutching her umbrella. My stick was also useful in the slippy conditions and I didn’t even have a bag of ‘nellies’ to balance on my head.”
