Rajasthani Folk Dance Performance , Udaipur

This evening you will visit the Dharohar dance show at the lovely Bagore Ki Haveli. This is one of the best opportunities to see the huge variety of traditional Rajasthani folk dances, including Mewari, Bhil and other western Rajasthani styles as well as puppets, tricks and song.

The Bagore Ki Haveli is a lovely setting too, as the sun sets on the banks of Lake Pichola. 

We're generally a little sceptical of 'folk art' performances laid on for tourists, but this one really is weorth seeing. A tremendous insight into the performance culture of the Mewari kingdom and not a minute too long, at just over an hour long. Well worth doing before visiting one of Udaipur's excellent restaurants for dinner.
