Our holidays are not bookable online and not built for mass consumption. That control allows us to shape standards, train properly, and refine constantly.

It also means we are accountable for what happens on the ground.

Our guides are selected not only for their knowledge, but for their judgement: their ability to read the room, adapt the pace, and bring a place to life without performance. They have the autonomy to adapt when it serves you – whether that means lingering somewhere unexpected or quietly reshaping the day.

Our Travel Team Don’t Earn a Commission

We don’t believe travel advice should be incentivised.

There’s no pressure on our consultants to sell hard or fast, no incentive to push your holiday down a particular path.

Their only responsibility is to design the right journey for you – through a detailed conversation, careful consultation and clear, experience-led recommendations.

It keeps the focus where it belongs: on you. No cookie-cutter templates. No off-the-shelf itineraries.

Book with Confidence

Every holiday you book with ETG comes with full financial protection. We are ATOL-protected and members of AITO (The Association of Independent Tour Operators) and ABTA (The Association of British Travel Agents) – giving you peace of mind from the moment you confirm.

You pay a 20% deposit to confirm your holiday. Until your balance due date, you can change any aspect of your trip for free (except for committed costs). You can upgrade hotels, experiences and flights, change destination, or even create another holiday if you’ve changed your mind. No admin fees. Ever.

We also include a guide tip within your upfront cost, shared fairly between those who look after you. It ensures they are properly rewarded and removes uncertainty from the experience.

We aren’t for everyone.

And that’s intentional.

We don’t prioritise volume over depth.
We don’t design tick-box itineraries.
We don’t cram every landmark into a single trip.
And we’re not a flight-and-hotel operator.

Outstanding private tour of Sri Lanka for solo parent and toddler

A 3 week private tour around Sri Lanka for solo parent and 2.5yo toddler. Every detail was so well planned and considered that all we needed to do was turn up and enjoy - and enjoy we most certainly did! The itinerary had been specifically crafted to consider the toddler but also ensure enough culture and parent focused items. A brilliant balance. Good communication with the local team in advance about items such as car seats, meaning a smooth arrival process when we landed.

Vietnam by planes, trains and automobiles

Amazing trip through Vietnam. Hopefully we will get to go back. Amazing people and culture. We started in Hanoi then went to Ninh Binh, Hue Hoi An, Can Tho, Ho Chi Min city and Mui Ne. We crammed in so much that it was great having a couple of nights in Moi Ne at the end to rest.
