Info : Dusun Jogja Village Inn

Dusun Jogja Village Inn is a boutique, intimate hotel which is situated within the Prawirotaman area of Yogyakarta. Within easy reach of the city’s major highlights, this hotel is unexpectedly tranquil and green compared to the business of the surrounding area, creating an endearing environment for its guests.

All twenty four of Dusun Jogja Village Inn’s rooms have private verandas or balconies overlooking the garden courtyard, designed as such to emulate a traditional Javanese ‘dusun’ or village. Within the courtyard itself a salt water pool, sun beds, an open air gym, open air restaurant and bar may be found for their guests relaxation and entertainment. Spa treatments are also available in the hotel for those travellers requiring some indulgence.

There are sixteen deluxe rooms available at Dusun Jogja Village Inn, some of which offer the unusual but charming option of an open air bath and shower area. All rooms are decorated in bright tropical colours, with antique style decor creating a cosy and friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel.

The hotel hosts a friendly and helpful staff, who are happy to book any excursions required at the Tour Desk. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas, as well as within the Dulux and Junior suite rooms. Also available within the hotel is a library and movie room, providing another area to unwind and relax.

Though Dusun Jogja Village Inn is situated next to a mosque, with daily calls to prayer audible from the hotel, it still remains a quiet and tranquil environment within the city.

Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.

Customer Feedback
Six great and amazingly different hotels - we would happily recommend any of them. We had three excellent guides as well. And we lost track of the number of "Wow" moments. In addition to the obvious, including Paramban, Borobodur and Bromo, we would add our tour of the markets + rickshaw ride in Malang, and having coffee with Mr Rai at the Agung Rai Gallery in Bali. Our guide in Bali, Otok (?) was excellent at explaining local culture, and we left an offering at his family shrine.
