Tohsang City Hotel is another sister hotel of Tohsang Khonjiam and Tohsang Sedhapura near the Lao border, but is located in the capital of Thailands eastern Isaan region, Ubon Ratchathani city. Tohsang offers guests pleasant and comfortable accommodation and a great base for exploring Ubon or as a stop-over point between Thailand and the south of Laos. Isaan is famous for its spicy food and its strong local dialect, considered exotic even by many Thai people!
The hotel offers both Superior and Deluxe rooms, which are quite similar but as its not too costly to upgrade so it is certainly worth considering. The hotel has 2 Suites which have more opulent décor and a separate living area. The Suites are available with double beds only and so wed recommend an upgrade for a couple looking to explore Isaan in style.
Overall Tohsang City Hotel is a great hotel for those looking for a little style and comfort in Ubon city. For those looking to get really off the beaten track in Thailand, wed recommend checking out the Tohsang Khonjiam (or Tohsang Sedhapura for that extra element of luxury) for a countryside retreat one hour away from Ubon in the beautiful surroundings of the Mekong riverside.
